Big Design in Boulder, Colorado
Caddis Architecture, etc. is a small architecture and planning firm based in the Holiday Park neighborhood in north Boulder, CO. The smaller nature of the firm results in a collaborative and innovate design environment that stresses healthy relationships with clients and with each other. Caddis specializes and is a leader in sutainable and net-zero design, cohousing communities, and ski resorts. My role with Caddis was as a summer architectural intern, to help out in any way possible on multiple projects, from all types of Revit constuction documents, taking field measurements, or providing intial design concepts, to lighten the load of the main staff in the office. I was priviliged to work mainly on a large multifamily housing renovation across multiple sites for Boulder Housing Partners, as well as many other projects such as custom private residences, a student lounge design for Naropa University, and a Tibetan restaurant retrofit.
